Ready For School is developed by experienced child psychologists and educators using Virtual Reality Exposure Therapy (VRET), to support school readiness.

Immerse your pre-schooler in our virtual school, and let them observe typical school experiences such as children playing on the playground during recess, quiet reading time in class, lining up to go outside, and speaking 1-on-1 with a teacher.

Ready For School apps come with a comprehensive Parent Support Guide that provides guidance and advice on how to use the app therapeutically to help transition your child to school.

All apps come with two viewing modalities, virtual reality (VR) and 2D, as a standard inclusion at no extra cost. We recommend introducing your child to the Ready For School 360" video library using the 2D modality first, which does not require any additional equipment or add ons, just your smartphone. Begin with the Low Stimulus videos (low auditory and visual intensity), and work your way through to the more complex and fun videos of a busy classroom in action.

Once your child feels comfortable exploring the 360" video content using the 2D modality, they are now ready for the enhanced immersive experience. Deeper immersion is achieved when you view the 360" videos on your smartphone through a Google Cardboard virtual reality headset. This modality requires users to purchase a headset for approximately $6-15USD (visit our website for a list of trusted providers). Users access the 360" videos in the same way as they would for the 2D modality, but prior to viewing them, the smartphone is placed into the headset viewing slot.
